I remember how excited I was when I first discovered that Seche – makers of my beloved Seche Vite top coat – also had a line of polish. I recently included Seche Vite in my list of can’t live without products, so you probably have a sense of how I feel about it! But I had never tried any Seche lacquers – oh, the horror! Live Love Polish carries a range of Seche colors, including my favorite Seche Vite top coat.
Empress is a beautiful, blackened eggplant shade. It applied flawlessly in two buttery coats. I really love this shade – it’s very dark, almost black in some lights. Application was wonderful, though the Seche brush is a little small. I would absolutely purchase other Seche lacquers! I love Empress for fall and winter.
Seche Vite is my go-to top coat. It is fast drying and really shiny. I do sometimes get a little frustrated by it – I find that about half way through the bottle, it gets a bit thick. I keep Seche Restore on hand to fix the consistency issues. Despite the fact that it gets gloopy over time, I always find myself returning to Seche Vite – I can’t seem to find another top coat that dries as fast or glossy.
I did some fun winter nail art using Seche Empress as my base! This is two coats of Empress, one coat of OPI Comet in the Sky, and one coat of Seche Vite. I did a little snowflake nail art on my ring finger. I think this combo looks like glistening snow falling from the night sky!
You can purchase Seche Vite for $9.50 and other Seche lacquers for $7.50 from Live Love Polish.
