Nail Butter

I love nail care products. I am constantly applying various creams and oils to my hands, with the hopes that I will attain the *perfect* nails and cuticles. That means that I am always searching for and trying new products. When I find one I like – ooooh, boy! I become a little obsessed with it.

Nail Butter | The Dalai Lama's Nails

I received a sample of Nail Butter quite a while ago. Now, I didn’t post about it sooner because I wanted to really test it out for a few weeks. But that excuse has come and gone, and I’ve nearly finished the entire jar of this amazing stuff! Better late than never, right?Nail Butter | The Dalai Lama's NailsI received Nail Butter in the Lemon Grass scent. First thing – I love lemon, lemon grass, all citrusy things. Lemon Grass smells amazing! Nail Butter is thick and creamy, quite luxurious really, and a little goes a very long way. A jar will last you quite a while! I love its deep moisturizing, and my hands always feel amazing after I use this product.Nail Butter | The Dalai Lama's Nails

Something else I like: Nail Butter does not contain any Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Artificial dyes or Fragrances. Woohoo! For me, there is only one draw back: the reason Nail Butter is so moisturizing is that it has lanolin, a product derived from sheep’s wool. There’s nothing wrong with that, in and of itself – I just personally feel a little weird about it. Maybe I shouldn’t – it also has beeswax, which I am totally fine with. I’m just a weirdo, I guess

Finally, here are some shots of my hands, after using Nail Butter exclusively for quite some time. My nails are pretty strong, and my cuticles seems moisturized and happy. I sometimes fix any cuticle snags or booboos – but I have not edited this photo at all, this is what it looks like straight off my camera (I mean, except for my logo!).

Nail Butter Review | The Dalai Lama's Nails

All in all, I really love Nail Butter. The price tag is a little hefty at $24 for the tub – but I think it’s well worth it, and I will be purchasing more myself! You can buy Nail Butter online.
