Besides glitter, you know what rocks my world? Holo nail polish. It’s everywhere, and for good reason. Man oh man, I cannot get enough of that rainbow flame – it makes even a simple manicure really beautiful! KBShimmer makes some fabulous holo polishes, and I am really drooling over Up and Cunning. I think KBShimmer is just generally great, and I am paying homage to the brand today with some KBShimmer inspired nail art! The brand’s logo has some pretty flowers, which are really easy to create in nail art.
Up and Cunning is seriously stunning. It’s a teal blue linear holographic polish. I applied three thin coats, though you could probably get away with two. Application was flawless – no issues to report whatsoever! I top coated with Glisten & Glow HK Girl.
Here’s a super quick video tutorial I made for KBShimmer flowers, if you want to try them out yourself. All you need is a dotting tool in two different sizes, a small detail brush, a base color, and a flower color. I used Essie Nothing Else Metals for the flower.
You can purchase Up and Cunning on the KBShimmer website for $8.75[PR Sample]
