Firmoo Glasses Review and Nail Art

Firmoo Glasses review and Nail Art

I am a glasses person. I have been since third grade. I have contacts, too – but I guess you could say that I prefer to save them for special occasions. My eyes just get so dry! I like to think of my glasses as accessories. It’s true, I need them to see. But why does that mean they should be boring? I have long held that since your glasses are on you face all the time, you might as well make em work for you! Go on, add some style! Since starting nail school, I really have enjoyed developing my personal style; it’s fun to accessorize and to find inspiration in my fashion choices. A special thanks to the girls at nail school for helping me get the fabulous photo of me! A big shout-out to Sam for the fancy makeup!

When I was contacted by Firmoo to review a pair of glasses, I jumped at the opportunity. I picked out a snazzy and brightly colored pair of cat eyes, and immediately got to work designing matching nail art. This pair of glasses really served as inspiration! I knew I wanted to try to match the colors, but I also loved the spirit of these funky frames.

Seriously, though, how funky are these glasses! They came in an adorable hard case, with a micro fiber glasses wipe. Ordering through the site was a breeze. All you need to do is include a picture of your current prescription and voila! I needed to make an adjustment to my prescription, and customer service was really helpful. The quality of the glasses is great and I had no problems with the prescription at all. I was friends with a girl who had several pairs of glasses, and she matched them to her outfits like any other accessory. I’ve never been able to do that because glasses can be very expensive. The frames I picked out retail for $29, and at that rate, I may order more!

For my nail art, I began by sponging on Essie Butler, Please in little splotches over my nail. I then blended it with Barielle Cosmic Kiss, to create a pink and purple affect. I always use makeup sponges, but to get some more texture I tore the sponges into little pieces. Once that was dry, I used a fine art brush to create geometric shapes using Zoya Purity.

Those glasses look so cute on you!

  • Those glasses look so cool and different. I love the nail art you did inspired by it too.

  • Those are so cute. I’m a glasses person too, but I’m also blind as a bat, so my glasses end up being so expensive that I can only afford one pair at a time. 🙁
