Even the busiest busy girl needs to have some sweet nails – and I always feel fabulous when I’m rocking nail art. That is why I love the #BusyGirlNails challenge! I’m taking my cue from the title and really keeping “busy” at heart. I’ve been challenging myself to think of quick but fun nail art that even the busiest busy girl could do. Plus, this challenge is weekly – I AM pretty busy, and I like that I link up with other ladies doing great manis over the course of an entire week. It’s not too late to join us this round! Post a brown mani for this week and share it on Instagram using #BusyGirlNails. Next week’s prompt is leaves. Check out the rest of the prompts below! Here was my sponging nail art for last week’s prompt.
I hardly own any brown polish. I think I own 2 – which is pretty silly, since it’s lovely and perfect for this time of year! Here’s what I used to get this look:
- Jessica Mad for Madison on every finger except ring and thumb. I used two lovely coats.
- Sephora by OPI Mauve-ie Star in the Making. One coat on my my index and middle finger.
- OPI I Have a Herring Problem. 3 thin coats on my rind and thumb fingers. I used a small nail art brush and Mad for Madison to quickly draw on some hearts and heart doodles
- Seche Vite to seal it all in
I think this look is fun and perfect for the fall. Plus, it only took about 10 – 15 minutes to do the whole thing. If freehand nail art isn’t your cup of tea, you could replace the hearts with polkadots and have a very similar outcome. I think it would be cute!
I hope you’ll join me for the next installment of #BusyGirlNails and share your own gorgeous nail art on Instagram!
